Email - yes its a distraction - but you can minimize it

every time we think to send an email – guess what

we get distracted by whats coming in to our inbox

but we know its not important to answer email every second of the day – in fact its down right unproductive.

so if you use a web based email like gmail or yahoo

click “compose” so you can open up a window to compose a new email.

then favorite this blank template page.

drag the favoirted site down to your BOOK MARKS bar in your browser.

Then right click select “edit” and rename it “compose”

then you should have a short cut to a non distracting way to send an email while by pasing whats in your inbox.

also, if you really want to keep email from distracting you…if you have a short cut for email already in your bookmarks bar – get rid of it. keep only the “compose” shortcut as that is what you want to be easiest for you to do.

as it is the most productive way to communicate without caring what is in your inbox.
