Other statuses that David Allen mentions

Comments: 6 Hi, I noticed that Nozbie collapses what Allen describes as contexts (Home, Work) with statuses. Also, the application does not include some of Allen’s suggested stauses (Delegated, Reference, etc.) although I can of course add them if I want to. What is the reasoning behind 1 collapsing statuses and contexts and 2 not including all recommended statuses? Do you not recommend using them? Thanks!! Comments:

if you looked at the way that Gqueues works is left hand side bar, it should be possible i believe to integrate status without complicating things

Daniel Shorter, Nozbe lets you assign more than one Nozbe-context to a task. Consider adding both Allen-contexts and Allen-statuses to Nozbe-contexts. Example: @Home, @Work, @Computer, @Errands, *Delegated, *Reference, *Postponed. And a task can have two contexts assigned, e. g. @Computer and *Postponed.

Hello Daniel. I recommend using different contexts David Allen mentioned. In the first version of Nozbe I did just that, but for many it was too much.
Right now out of the box we’re including only four most-used contexts and you can add more if you like.
I merged statuses with contexts because the full GTD implementation is just too complicated. I wanted it simple and I though statuses and contexts are very similar and I blended them altogether.
