iCal sync is 1 hour early - UK British summer time

When I set up iCal sync, timed events appear in the iCal Calendar 1 hour too soon. ie a task for 18:00 appears at 17:00.

I think this must be something to do with British Summer time when our clocks go forward by 1 hour.

Please could this be fixed, or is there a work round?
