Mac client lacks within menu bar “Add new to do” or “Add new item”.
Also no “Preferences” within the menu.
Comments:
I am using the Windows version, and I agree on the placement of the plus button. It is awkward and even more awkward given there is no keyboard equivalent. I find myself going back to the web version over and over. The native apps have a ways to go.
@ Simon I will report your issue with moving between spaces to our tech.
@ the + issue. I will pass all your comments to out tech on this aspect.
The placement of the “+” button has been fixed – thanks for your great suggestions! And now we’re working on finishing touches of the desktop app. There will be one more beta and then the finished app in version 1.0. It’s all coming along very well now. keep the feedback coming!
The ‘add new item’ button is the ‘+’ button at the bottom of the window. I find the position of this button a little awkward to use myself. The window layout feels a little too much like a web app, and not enough like a native mac app.
Another problem that I’ve had with the mac version is that it doesn’t behave properly when using spaces (multiple desktops). I can move Nozbe from one desktop to another when I use Mission Control in OSX Lion. But I can’t move it to another desktop by either dragging it to the edge of the screen, which should move it to the next desktop, or by dragging the window and then pressing CTRL + the desktop number at the same time. Before OSX Lion, this was the only way to move applications between desktops, and Nozbe is the only application that I can’t move in this way.
