This message is now twice posted, sorry for that, but I wanted to find out quick what’s going on.
I have recently had to change phones, and have just tried to download from the market, but there is no nozbe on the market anymore, or has it changed it’s name.
Please, someone inform me.

Can the android market tell what handset you have? The phone I have been relegated to is a small screen (till the new iphone comes out), maybe the market only shows apps that work on small screens? I can’t see google earth either, or the engadget app. Very strange.
You might not be looking at Android market but an equivalent. I’ve read of tablets that arrive with a substitute market for example. But have to say I thought all phones used the original market. Time to Google/search on your handset and Android Market – hopefully somebody has it sussed.
Well, we have decided to disable download for unsupported devices. Andriod Market is able to say what devise you are using and thus does not show items that are not designed for it. I for example was unable to download our native apps for sometime because the resolution of my screen did not fit the standard ( I have Moto Flipout). We plan to release the apps for those currently not supported over time.
The following quote is from an android forum.
“When a user searches or browses in Android Market on an Android device, the results are filtered based on which applications are compatible with that device. For example, if an application requires a camera (as specified in the application manifest file), then Android Market will not show the app on any device that does not have a camera.”
Guess I just have to wait for the new iPhone before I can use this again.
Delfina – when is the next Android release due and will it just address stability and performance issues or will it also include functional enhancements?
@Bruce
I’m sorry for late feedback. We have released a new one last week. I believe it focuses on removing existing bugs.

Weird – I just went to check and could not find either – and then I did! I’m UK based (for what it is worth)
