Today at the top of the web app there is a banner saying “latest iphone app now available on appstore”. I have the macroscope app, but the appstore isnt telling me i can update it. Should it be?

Yes you definitely should. It should auto update via your iTunes. Provided you have it in your library. To update mine I went into my iTunes library and clicked on ‘check for updates” then downloaded and synched my iPhone.
Hi. I definitely can’t update it. I have v2.0b10.
Interestingly if I look up the appstore page for any other app I have it says “purchased” on the button at the top right, and its greyed out. However if i look at nozbe, it has the purchase price there – as if I never bought it. But I definitely did – I still have the receipt for it.
Are you able to help with this? It was from the Australian app store btw.
Paul, 2.0.1 is the newest, so you should not worry. Apps store is little weird to be honest. I have two accounts there because with my native I could not purchase anything (except free apps). As result I get very confusing messages, thus one thing I can suggest is sticking to one country version.
There is an update coming our within a month time I believe (the EN integration).

Paul the version released on 19th September is the 2.1. Next update is planned in November.
The iPad update is coming out within a week (already being review by iTunes atm).

OK well I am back to my original problem – it doesnt automatically update. According to the appstore I never bought it, but I definitely did get it straight from the appstore like any other app that I have. I still have the receipt.
Are you able to help with this?
by the way i cant update it through my phone or through itunes on my PC
