Windows Nozbe App

I can’t wait to see the official Nozbe Windows client, but in the meantime I am offering another viewpoint.

ReVuDo is a free Windows client for Nozbe. It doesn’t yet do everything that Nozbe does, but it will let you do things that Nozbe doesn’t: sort, filter, find projects without labels! More is coming. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Sadly I have not got the time to properly check this out at the moment, but what I like is that you have a roadmap that sensibly says what you will progressively concentrate on to make it better. The blog also seems to document change very well. Also mercifully free of terms like ‘gorgeous’ & ‘the best Windows app ever’. This is all good and inspires confidence.

Really great app!!! Michael keeps adding new things. If you haven’t downloaded it do so now.

The latest version has just been released at http://michaelkoehler.co/revudo

Printing support will be next I promise, followed by exporting.

Hi Michael,
Will ReVuDo display Projects without Actions?

:-)
Alan Cochran 15 Aug 11 21:18

I uninstalled and reinstalled ReVudo app. It automatically logs me into my Nozbe account. How can I change it to not automatically log me in and force me to enter my login information? Thanks…Alan

@Alan ReVuDo will display projects without actions. In the projects list it will show with 0 in the Actions column. I click the Actions column to sort all the projects with no Actions to the top as part of my weekly review.

Sorry about the auto login, an undo that selection needs to be added to Options. In the meantime, if you are on Windows Vista or Windows 7, under c:UsersyourloginAppDataLocal your should see a folder Michael_W._Koehler. Delete that folder and all the ReVuDo options will reset to defaults. Under Windows XP the path is different. Let me know if you need that.

Thanks for the reply… I deleted the folder and everything is good.

Alan, a fix for that was released last night. http://michaelkoehler.co Thanks for letting me know.

Michael, your application is fantastic. I need to provide regular reports to my manager, who wants something easy to read, sort etc. I can now easily export to Excel, allowing me to use Nozbe (and therefore be effective myself) while my boss uses his system (and therefore be effective himself).
Thanks!

Thanks Paul. So glad this helps you and makes Nozbe even more useful. I am working on adding more features especially editing projects and tasks. Subscribe to my blog to get updates by email or RSS.

This is just an update that ReVuDo for Nozbe, a Windows client for Nozbe, has gotten to the next stage.

ReVuDo for Nozbe already provides extensive filtering and printing support. With today’s update it can now sync with Nozbe on demand. Editing your projects and tasks is the next step. Follow along and let me know what you’d like to see at http://michaelkoehler.co/

Happy Holidays!
