I really like Nozbe. Only short coming is the search function.
Nozbe web search includes action items & notes, but not comments related to action items (where I had been storing contact info and other useful info)
Nozbe Desktop for mac search does search comments in action items (hooray!), but not notes (at least my install doesn’t)!
At a minimum what is needed is a cross-platform, consistent search function that includes action items, comments in action items, and notes.
Ideally the search function could also be used to search completed tasks and comments.

I fully agree with you on this and we do plan to do so over time. To my knowledge the desktops are the platform where the changes will be implemented 1st.
The search function will be improved even more on the desktop and later will be ported to all the platforms including the web. It’s all coming very soon and we’re going to make search even better with project, context and dates support. Stay tuned.
This is indeed one feature that I think is missing – because of the volume of projects the inability to have a search function that will search through completed projects can be frustrating – any update ?

Well the good news is that search is very high on priority list and that 1st changes are planned on the desktop. The not so good news is that I do not yet have a fixed deadline for that ;-(
