Maybe I’m doing something wrong here…
I swear I had a “Clean the bathroom” task set for weekly recurrence, but after I cleaned the bathroom once, it never showed up again. (I may have postponed the task – maybe from Friday to Sunday – before completing the first instance. I’m not quite sure.) As much as I’d love never to have to clean the bathroom again, I don’t think this is right.
Likewise I have two “completed” recurring tasks that I checked off today, but I can see no sign of their future counterparts next week. If the same thing happens this time, by tomorrow morning, those two tasks will be gone altogether.
If someone can tell me I’m doing something wrong, that would be great… Otherwise, one suggestion:
The next (future) instance of a recurring task should appear as soon I as I complete the “current” instance. So when I complete “Take out the recycling” today, next Wednesday’s task should appear on my calendar.
Thanks very much!
Comments:
Thanks much. The good news is that the two tasks I completed yesterday, this morning showed up due next Wednesday. So it’s only the bathroom-cleaning one that’s a bit of a mystery. Sorry I can’t be sure about the ‘steps to reproduce’ there.
It’s ok. As far as I know they have been trying to reproduce the issue to find the source of it. We’ll see. Hope it gets solved soon.
I have this same question. I posted a couple (I don’t use them much) recurring tasks. Only one occurrence shows up on my calendar. Even if I complete it, it doesn’t appear to show a new occurrence.
I may be doing something wrong as I am a very new Nozbe user, but I am hoping to clarify things.
Thank you!
@Swab,
Please do email us at support@nozbe.com. Thank you.
I wish recurring tasks would show up in the future, even when the current task hasn’t been completed. It doesn’t give me a clear picture of what I can schedule on a future day if the recurring tasks don’t show up.
However, it would be helpful if the recurring tasks were grey (and maybe at the bottom of the list) or even if there was a way to “uncheck” them to keep clutter down.
