Time Zone Problem with Google Calendar

olivier   Wednesday, April 22
Comments: 16

Hi,

I am in GMT+4 time zone. The events are correctly set in Nozbe. When I import in Google Calendar (GMT+4), it add 4 hours on my events.

For exemple, I’ve put an appointment at 12:15 (GMT+4) on Nozbe. I get my appointment at 16:15 on Google Calendar.

Anyone can help me please?

Regards,
Olivier

I have the same/similar issue. I am at GMT+10, correctly set in Nozbe and Google, but the Nozbe feed comes thru at GMT.

I am having the same issue. I am at GMT -5 and comes through in googlle at GMT. Have deleted and relinked several times. Doesn’t fix. I have double checked my time zone settings on the computer, nozbe, and googlee. All are correct. No clue what else on my end. Is it a server side issue?

Exactly same issue. I am at GMT +1 (British Summer Time). I guess the Ical settings are specifying that the times are in a time zone but the import converts them to GMT. I note that google believes the calendar times to be GMT. Perhaps this is a google problem?

Same problem here. Both Nozbe and Google calendar are correctly listed as GMT -5, but my tasks show up four hours too early on Google Calendar.

I am having the same problem as well. Set up as GMT -5 on both Nozbe and Google but tasks show up four hours too early on Google calendar.

Can we get this resolved as soon as possible?

We’ll look at this problem right away and try to solve it. Thanks for the detailed report.

Ok, well, it’s now eight months after Michael’s message and none others have posted. Yet I’m experiencing the same exact problem. I’m not a paid member yet, just trying Nozbe out, but this seems to be a fairly basic issue and I’m trying to weigh these features and how soon issues get fixed in order to come to a decision re weather I should make an outlay of cash for such a system. Has this issue just been forgotten?

Hmmm not really I believe it has been resolved and came back in the new version. I will get it copied and send to tech-support.

Thanks Delfina, I appreciate it!

Ok everyone. Our tech-team seems to have a problem with this one. Can you all tell us how you import your Calendars into Nozbe? Do you choose settings in Google Calendar (Settings -> Calendars -> Import) or some other way?

:-)
BRV_Service 5 Mar 10 13:33

Сould you clarify Question: Do u interesting import INTO Nozbe or FROM Nozbe to gCalendar?
tnx

Levi Wallach 10 Mar 10 15:56

Are you serious? The first post states “When I import in Google Calendar”

Delfina, any resolution on this yet?

:-)
Delfina 11 Mar 10 10:15

Levi, can you answer my question from before BRV’s comment? without that the tech guys won’t be able to help you much.

:-)
Delfina 17 Mar 10 08:59

Hi guys,

Thanks to Michal Majorek and his coopertion we managed to solve this issue. It turns out that the problem appears when instead going through ‘import calendar’ you go via ‘other calendars”. The tech team managed to resolve this issue and should be fine now.
Please do check and let me know. Thank you.

Hi guys,

Everything fine under this perspective? Hope none has this problem anymore.

My calendar is still out of sync – Nozbe events appear 4 hours later in Google Calendar.
