More Efficient Overview & Improved Notifications

First off, I love Nozbe. I think it is a great product.

That being said, I am continously hoping that a few things happen…

1. Allow for sorting the projects. -I help manage several small businesses and work with many individuals. Therefore, I have a project for everything. However, it would be incredibly nice if I could, in that left column, see my top level companies, and then be able to expand…this would visually help me a lot, as there is so much text. -At the very least, let us create subprojects and filter automatically (rather than manually dragging and dropping)

2. Reporting -The main problem with Nozbe for me as an employer, is that I cannot quickly see who is working on what project, time spent in certain contexts, etc. It would be amazing if there were some sort of dashboard that provided visual displays (and ability to download stuff for record keeping), that showed that type of information

3. Alerts and Notifications -This is another big one for me. I have many people within Nozbe, I delegate tasks to (in different companies no less). It works great for me to delegate them, but the issue is that unless that employee or contractor is checking Nozbe every day, they don’t get notified that I assigned them a new task. -I would use nozbe exclusively if I knew i could post a to-do item for someone, and an automatic e-mail would be sent out notifying them of the new task. -The best workaround we have seen so far, is to simply add all of the projects you are responsible for, to your google reader. That way, if there are new tasks (although not nec. delegated to you), the folder will appear as bold.

And for crying out loud, let us have the option to automatically get an e-mail if someone responds to your forum thread (more community involvement = happy customers = more money for you!)

Hello Justin,

It is true that the reporting/overviewing is so the weak side. We are amassing ideas in this respect at the moment as we really would like to have a clear view of what is needed and we do want to improve it.

As for alerts for now the only ones there are, are the Gcal ones. But… they defiantly won’t be last. We hope to release Emailine soon. And I hope she will be to your liking.

Meanwhile I will allow myself to cut your post in appropriate chunks and attach them to our corresponding areas in our team project.

when will the next release be? Is it possible to simply get date from your api and build our own reports?

If you wanted to simply have a third party service develop it, I may be interested in taking that on…Nozbe Reports plug-in or something…
