Context filtering within Next Actions

Please support contexts within Next Actions. I would like the ability the filter Next Actions by context. This is typically the only time I want to use contexts since I’m working out of Next Actions.

Thanks for the great app!

Yes i agree – it truly is the best way to organize next actions.

i used to do a version of GTD using nothing but an excell sheet and i found organizing my Next actions by context with a space inbetween each one and the ability to hight each context to be absolutley amazing for encouraging me to gTDtd as it always made me see what else i could do on my next actions list within the current context.

Nozbe could do something similar to what i just said by simply moving the context icons from the right side of the list to the left side of the list.

as it would give people the ability to approach nozbe thinking first about what context we are currently in.

also i want to add that with my Next actions arranged like this – it motivated me to do things in my current context and then to go to the context where i can do the most damage to my Next actions list.

I agree, it’s really slow to pick through next action the list to find the context I’m looking for. Similarly in the context view I’d like to have the ability to see only the next actions or sort them all to the top or something

Agreed. This is one of those items that keep coming up because Nozbe would be so much better with this. As it is I do not use Next Actions very much.

sigh
This is the I don’t know how many times already that I see people asking for having sorting possibilities in Nozbe.
I’m really getting scared about this. I think the first request was March 14th 2009. That’s now more then 1 year and 10 months. And we still don’t have this (basic) functionality yet.
Maybe the people at Nozbe should talk with Dave Enberg, the Technical Guy at Evernote since he mentions a lot in the Evernote Blogcast that he knows SQL queries.

Michael, as founder of NOZBE, and Delfina and the rest of the staff, listen AND ACT to this need.
And please be open and communicate good. Provide us users with realistic timelines, don’t just say “We’re currently working on this”. This is what my government to be is doing for more then half a year now….

Can’t you already filter by context using the funnel link under the “Next Actions” header?

Personally, I’d like to see some more advanced filter options (e.g. multi-selection, NOT etc.)

I agree with Ryan OMalley

You can filter next actions by context and label etc already however what I would like is the ability to have more than just 1 filter option, for example I would like to filter by label AND also by context. It would be similar to smart lists en Evernote or Remember The Milk for example

Nozbe is great. However this need comes up regularly in my day to day. Boolean filtering, please. Would it help if we offered some real world examples of how we could benefit/use this feature?

i want all my contexts list displayed similar to the project review UI with the exeption that each list within a list is a seperate context.
