Invites & Task Assignment

IT’S A PAIN IN THE BUTT!!!

There has to be an easier way of doing this! I have a small team of 5. I create a new project. I invite each member to the project. I create tasks that need to be accomplished by each team member.

Here is the problem:
I can’t assign those tasks to the various team members UNTIL they accept the invite to the project. That requires me to WAIT / HAVE TO GO BACK and assign the tasks. This is counter-productive. You shouldn’t have to revisit / assign the tasks at a later date.

We need to have the option of selecting “Auto-Invite” the entire team or individual persons. This way you don’t have to wait for an acceptance. If I’m the boss they don’t have a choice. They are on the project.

Under: Choose one of your contacts
there should also be: Auto-Invite Team Auto-Invite Person(s)

And maybe it should be a ‘check box’ system instead of a drop down. So…something like this:

_ Invite
_ Auto-Invite Team
_ Auto-Invite Person(s)

Team
_ Entire Team
_ Person 1
_ Person 2
_ Person 3
_ Person 4
_ Person 5
