I’ve been reading David Allen’s book and learning Nozbe at the same time.
I think I’m “doing it wrong”, and would appreciate some advice.
I created a couple of dozen projects (and have really just gotten started). Most of them have one “next action”. Now when I go to the “next action” display, it’s overwhelming – dozens of actions to be done. Selecting which one to do becomes a task in itself. I’m constantly being reminded of things I don’t want to think about yet. This seems completely counter to the idea of GTA.
What I think I want is the ability to defer a project until later and not see its next action until some date is reached. E.g., I don’t need to see the “book hotel” action for a trip I’m taking in six months. I think this is the idea of a “tickle file”, but I don’t see any way to do this in Nozbe.
Or is there a better way of doing things?
Thanks!
