A lesson from outlook: priritizing tasks for effective review

Create a system that allows us to prioritize items. with not only numbers but also classifications like outlook does. I never used outlook but i noticed one time while fooling around with it that all the various number classification of priorities correlated with a saying such as “next week” “ASAP” “do late” Etc.

This would be very helpful in moving towards creating a weekly review page where we could go through everything in out lists and then reclassify them.

this would also help us to quickly and effortlessly adjust our next action list on the go too.

Pardon me, but those categories like “next week’, ‘overdue’ and so on are already in Nozbe. They are in calendar and Next Actions.

It is possible I do not quite grasp what you mean here, but why duplicate something that is already there, just needs a touch of flexibility on users part in its interpretation?

THis is more for the weekly review UI – this way we can quickly go down a list of projects and decide wheather to review things no – later or when exactly – as reviews do not and should not need to be done weekly in their entierty – this would simply improve the Review UI to help us accomplish that and thereby limiting what we need to sift through in order to review.

We’ll take a look at it. Thx for suggestion.

i bet this would also lead to more people actually conducting reviews too!

as if nozbe helps to decrease the resistance to getting organized and can allow us to think how we naturally want to think, then i think people will do things to stay on top of their life a whole lot more.
