Hi There,
Company of 5 been using Nozbe for about 5 weeks. Like a lot about it. A couple nagging things. But the main one that would make this rock has to do with the way assigned tasks are handled.
There seems to be almost no ability to take advanatage of assigning things.
Either
1) A screen (like next action) where I can see things assigned to me, or someone else.
2) An email to people when you assign them a task, otherwise they may not notice you assigned them a task for too long.
3) An email when a task is completed that I have assigned or some other notification.
Anything like this being worked on? Or is it very far down the pipeline?
Would really improve team feature, which might encourage more cross-pollination at workplaces where one person uses Nozbe. In turn resulting in MORE USER LICENSES. And more dollars for you guys to do more great stuff!!!
You would have Nozbe evangelists and a compelling reason for them to force everyone around them to start getting things done!!
Comments:
I agree that there are really 3 “dedicated” views that would be useful in team environments, but they are really “modes of operation” Either I’m operating in a mode where I want to see all tasks no matter who they belong to, or I want to see my subset, or those I’ve assigned to someone else.
O want all the existing existing functionality in each of these modes (with better filtering options for labels of course). The current view is really a “Team” view showing tasks no matter who they are assigned to. We need a switch to toggle that to “My Tasks” mode showing just tasks assigned to me or “Anyone”, and an “Assigned Tasks” mode showing tasks I have created and assigned to someone else.
Hmmm
Hell Neil,
I had a long chat yesterday with Michael on the issue of multi-user needed features. He has stated that one of the 1st thing on the list will be email notification of changes in the projects. I believe you should expect it within this half a year.
As for the screen idea.. this is certainly something different and new. I will discuss it with him. To be honest I like it better then filtering of any-type…
