delete due date in new UI

Hi, in a recently updated UI, due date of a to do cannot be removed anymore. Is it possible in the new UI to remove due date?

Already in place. If you click at the date field an vie the little calendar there, right below it on right side you will see a red link ‘remove date’.

But now we need to confirm to delete a date.
Do we need this extra click ? I don’t.

@Chrisitian. I’m not sure. I believe this is a precaution more then anything. If you wish I can pass this to the team and leave it for them to decide.

I am finding it impossible to remove the date on one of my tasks. I can assign a new date, but not remove altogether. I have tried selecting the red remove date and it seems to remove it, but on a refresh. The date is back. I have tried removing it from the iphone and the ipad apps, and once again this appears to work, but on the next sync, that date is back. Please advise, thank you
