I have been using Nozbe for several months and, until recently, was satisfied with the constant development of Nozbe.
However, I have been quite concerned about the development sticking to a few technologies/solutions and neglecting others. Let me specify:
1) Formatting possibilities of Notes in the Nozbe are currently limited and complicated to use. On the other hand, Nozbe provides “Evernote” Notes. My impression is that this is the preferred solution. For me, this is not great since I use Microsoft OneNote. I’ve tried using Evernote, but OneNote is more for my taste. Consequently, I’m stuck with poor formatting options of Nozbe Notes.
2) iPhone/iPad solutions are developed quite nicely. However, as a Windows Mobile user I am disappointed that the development of the mobile web interface is halted. Android users are also crying out for a mobile solution! Buying an iPhone or an iPad is a costly workaround!
3) A recent post from another thread in the forum suggested an integration of Nozbe with Dropbox. However, iPad and iPhone could receive that integration sooner. Personally, I use other services instead of DropBox. I’m a bit worried that I’ll be stuck with generic “Files” in Nozbe, while iPad users will have a nice GTD setup. Since other users may be also using alternatives this may be a serious issue.
To conclude, it would be great to hear from Nozbe about their strategy concerning different platforms and integrations with different services!
Hope to hear some assuring words!
Keep up the good work!
