Add the ability (similar to convert task to project) to easily convert a “note” to a “task”.
This functionality will make Nozbe more flexible and usable for a variety of users and usage patterns.
Comments:
I would agree with this.
The ability to convert a “note” to a “task” is a simple, quick feature. Re-thinking the management of all information will taking longer. I would love to get incremental functionality now while they are working on quantum leaps later.
I totally agree. I was extremely disappointed that my Evernote GTD files (which I created using extensive tagging and folders) will not import as actions/tasks into Nozbe but merely as notes. Blah.
Easy to fix, badly implemented in first place. Until this is fixed, Nozbe is of very limited use to me.
I love the Evernote integration…HOWEVER...This would be a much more functional feature if you added:
-convert to task and convert to project buttons
-drag to tasks and drag to projects to convert.
-at least add a checkbox
Would love the functions that Vincent Tegila describes.
And aswell i think it should be easier to add notes to some kind of archive, that is not refrenced to a procjekt/task.
And it should be easier to change notes in the inbox to tasks/project or archive somewhere. Now i kinda miss a place where you can write random ideas that is easy to turn into projects/archive
doesnt using the * formatting in the email convert it to an action??
Of what I know something of this type is already being prepared.
@ Kevin. Yes, it does. But I believe they mean converting already existing note, not a one you are about to send.
to some extent i agree with this idea – but if nozbe did a better job of improving how information is added to nozbe – then i believe this would not be neccesary.
