ipad to iphone sync

Hi, new to this so ill apologies if the question has been asked previously (I have looked but cant see it). I plan to buy the ipad and iphone app (due to disappointment with RTM) do you need a full blown account for the two devices to sync, I understand they operate independently but will they actually sync if I do not have a paid for account (I understand the free account is limited to 6 projects), I do not use the web browser much as I’m out a lot on the road but I do use both the ipad and iphone equally….6 projects isnt enough and the 80 Euros for a full account is equally off putting

Hello Tony,

Yes, that is the case. The devises do not communicate without an account. I can be even a free account, but as you already know it is limited to 5 projects + Inbox.

If cost is your concern I would 1st suggest getting the iPhone apps and trying the online account for a month for free (the apps come with that option). Then deciding if you really like it and if it helps you….if it does then the cost won’t matter much as it will save you more in result.
You can also try fining some friends to share account with. This can considerably lower the cost as you can get 5 accounts in Family pack for price of 2 individual ones. And also there is the affiliate program.

Hope my suggestions help

Thanks, I was aware of the option but had avoided due to the ultimate cost. I just dont see myself using the web access so will effectively be paying for both apps and then the 80 odd euros just for the privilege of having a sync. I’m already sure I’ll find it beneficial and it’s a good looking app but 80 odd euros for a sync option feels like “ouch”. I’ll give it some thought. Thanks for the response.

Well Tony. I believe I have already stated this somewhere ….if the system works for you then cost of 3 or 4 coffee cups at a coffee shop a month is really not that much.
