Heads up on IE9

I’ve been using IE9 and, besides the fact that i LOVE it – i’ve noticed some bugs with Nozbe…the most obvious one so far is that the colors of projects doesn’t work unless you are in “compatibility view”...i just started testing it, so that is all i have so far – but it is big since we use colors on projects quite a bit and the owner wants to push Nozbe company wide today.

Also, this forum is a little glitchy with IE9, but i’m assuming you didn’t code this and got it off the shelf?

Hello Jared,

I’m not quite sure what you mean by ‘didn’t code this and got it off the shelf”. Meanwhile, I would like to provide you with a bit of explanation here. The IE 9.0 is a new release, we are generally prepared for such occurrence, however in this case we have been taken a bit by surprise. I will pass your post to our tech so they can take a look at reported issues.

Hey Delfina, what i was saying is that this Forum should – in my option – be run using one of the multitude of free/paid forum software packages that are considered “off the shelf” (http://tinyurl.com/pqzso)

The thing is, if you are using “off the shelf” forum software, then the developer of that software should be releasing a new version to deal with the IE7 issue.

If you ARE NOT using off the shelf forum software, then you are wasting your programming resources! You are not in the business of building, maintining and troubleshooting a forum – so, any time spent on doing so takes away from your Nozbe programming – which is your core and needs your 100% attention.
