I realize that you think “bubbling” the project labels was an advancement, but I offer a different perspective: Before the change, I could select a new label with one click; now it takes at least two clicks, plus often sliding the bar downward. For me, that is a big step backwards.

Thanks, Delfina.
Please watch me how look old labels?
personally i think nozbe needs to have things auto drop down upon scroll over – such a feature would make working with nozbe more seemless.
also, nozbe should check out Gqueues for their design on t he side of how they kept the side bar from being to cluttered.
I dont think auto drop down on mouse over would work well on touch screen computers though
Delfina: Is there progress in this area?
Thanks,
Mark
Well Mark,
To be honest I have passed your reaction to Michael. I believe that he would rather wait for all the changes to be finally in place and see the feedback to it all once it is done. I keep track of all the ‘negative’ feedback of course as the changes are designed to help you not to distract you, and if they fail to do so the approach needs to be changed.
I like both the old method (for small numbers of projects) and the new method (for many projects). Maybe it could be possible to toggle between the two?
Also, for large collections of projects: how about a “projects without labels” button, similar to the “actions without contexts” button?
I like the bubbles – having the labels in view the whole time hindered the view of the projects. And getting rid of this meant it was three clicks – open labels, select the one I want, close labels. Now it’s just two.
Big step backwards. This was sold as a ready-to-go professional product. It is still not out of R&D. Bad choice on my part.
Hello Mark,
Thank you for your feedback. I will pass it on.
