Replicate Projects & Tasks

I’m new to Nozbe so perhaps I just haven’t found the right button yet. But I would like to be able to replicate my projects and tasks.

  • I am rolling out nozbe to my team of Virtual Assistants. I’m using projects as checklists (ie. web design checklist). So every time there is a new client, I want to be able to simply replicate either the entire checklist (ie. project), or the individual tasks (ie. only those applicable for the client).

Currently I am using manual copy-paste method. We have tons of checklists and lots of projects so this method is highly inefficient. If anybody has a better way of doing this, kindly share with me. Btw, we currently have a wiki to which I can simply forward the checklist too however I would like to have the task/check-off functionality of nozbe. Thanks

Hello Sheila,

We are planning to introduce draft projects. I’m not sure yet when, but I do know this would most-likely apply to what you are looking for.

Hi Sheila, One workaround would be to import a txt file (in the format shown below), into Nozbe. Note a blank project must already exist. More info in the Settings – Backup section of the site.

Project Checklist

  • Check This. #Project Checklist @Office
  • Check That. #Project Checklist @Office
  • Check The Other. #Project Checklist @Office
  • And check again. #Project Checklist @Office

Sheila…
If you don’t have a solution for this already… this is an easy one.
Setup the email integration with Nozbe.
Setup an email template with the following:

  • Step One
  • Step Two
  • Step Three
  • ETC, ETC, ETC.

(replace Steps with YOUR tasks)
Create an email using that template and email it to Nozbe. It will automatically add those steps to the first project on your list. If you email it TO the project… It will even add it to the project itself.
