Suddenly reminders in synced tasks in Google calendar

Last month a new feature was introduced in Nozbe to make it possible to connect the Nozbe calendar to your Google calendar. This is a great feature and I use it a lot. At first everything went fine but since +/- a week every task that is synced with Google calendar gets a reminder. I don’t like this because on my iPhone I use the Google app to push calendar notifications. So now I get notified many times a day. Previously that wasn’t the case. I’ve been looking for a setting that could prevent this behaviour but I haven’t found one. It seems that something has changed in the syncing process.
An option would be great.
Or maybe if you set a date and a time to a task, it should create a reminder. Not if no time is specified.

Hello Jan,

First of all I would like to ask you to write me at questions@nozbe.com.
Meanwhile please note that you can set a date with time of the day . Simply in the date field type the date + time e.g. 27 Sept 2010 10:00 and you will end up with the task due on that day with 10 am as it’s due-time. I’m not sure if this addresses your concern here.

Reminders, as said in many places here, will come with Emailine. I’m not quite sure how you have done the reminders thing you have described. That might be the source of the issue and that’s also why I would appreciate you writing us. This needs to be solved.

Thank you for writing me, Jan. The tech has added reminders last week or so. I had a discussion with them and they are now working on making an option to disable them for those who do not wish to use them.
