Currently actions can be assigned to “one person” or “anyone”. This is ok but it means if an action has to be done by more than one person, but a smaller subset than the whole group, it has to be defined multiple times as a single action for each. (A meeting for example)
Would be good if actions could be associated with multiple specific users.. ie
“person one” and “person two”
“person two” and “person three” and “person four”
etc
As a secondary request… Some way of delivering the “meeting request” functionality of programs like MS Outlook – where users have option of being “invited” to actions (like meetings set at a certain time), and they can accept, deny, or request a different time. Obviously having to set a “user to accept” option would not be enabled by default, as we wouldn’t want to have to have every task we delegate accepted.
If we had this we’d ditch Outlook altogether.
Comments:
I agree with everything Geoff requested. I would like this functionality as well.
I would like this as well!
Yes, I would like to invite several users to do an action and have them be able to accept or not. then who does what can all be put on the “report” page requested elsewhere.
