We’re truly happy for our Android client. We think it’s fast and we like that it syncs seamlessly with our Nozbe.com server. The problem is, the app works well on a few phones… but has issues on many other headsets and we have only a few of them in our company – so I’d kindly ask for your help here.
Please post your Android headset model below and once we’ve shipped a new build of the client, you’ll let us know how it works for your phone and what kind of issues (if any) you’re experiencing.
In our company we have:
Please post below:
This would help us tremendously. This way we’d know what you guys use and when you post feedback we’d hopefully have a better understanding of the problems.
Android space is a very fragmented space with lots of phones with different processor speeds, screen resolutions… and Android versions – but we are committed to making our Android version the best one ever and to making sure the app works on your phone, too.
Let me repeat it – our Android app is going to be our flagship app so we want to make it really shine on your phone. Your help here would be appreciated.
Thanks again for posting the details of your phones (and tablets) in the comments below:

Model: Samsung Infuse 4G
Screen resolution: 480 × 800 pixels
Android Version: 2.2
Motorola Droid 2
version 2.2
480 × 854 pixels
Motoroloa Droidx
Android 2.3
480×854
I too find the app too slow to use on my phone.
HTC Desire
Android 2.2
480×800
I have no choice, need the app for on the road and in the field, which is most of my day.
Trying to add project, I hit + and the add screen comes up but nothing happens. Try to back out and I get ‘runtime error’ Location [0,0] null – Message: type error: cannot find function byDPI in object [object Object]. Source (no source)
I can hit ‘kill’ and the app returns to home screen, or ‘continue’ and the app returns to the projects screen.
This is the only failure so far, though I don’t use every function. Although I need it I still use other methods if available – re: evernote.
Samsung Galaxy Tab
Android 2.3
1024 × 600
Its a bit slow, some letters, like g are cut off at the bottom. On this big screen it looks very good though. Thanks for working on this
@All… Passed to our developer.
HTC Thunderbolt
Version 2.2.1
Don’t know resolution
I need the app to work in landscape mode.
Thanks
Acer Iconia Tab A501, 1280×800, Android 3.0.1
Do you want our testing feedback here or in some other forum?
@Michael. My Moto is MB511 the so-called Flipout
HTC Desire
400×800
Android 2.2
Works well just a little slow. I’m in South Africa so maybe it’s the sync.
Sansung Galaxy Ace (S5830)
320×480
Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread
Comparing to the version on my iPod Touch 4g it works very slow. Looking forward to the update.
HTC Desire HD
480×800
Android 2.3 Gingerbread
It works, for now that’s all I can tell you about it )
Please advise If I have to buy new andorid based phone:
Which one is the best performer for Nozbe?

Charan
Hi @Nozbe or someone else
Please advise urgently if HTC Panache™ 4G (Mobilicity in Canada)with Android™ 2.3 with HTC Sense™ is a good option to access Nozbe.
I have to buy urgentlyas my phone is broken.

HTC Desire HD issue – sometimes fails to sync. I have to logout and than login again to get the current state of actions lists.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc (LT15i)
854х480
Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread
I’ve noticed the same issue as lexmirnov described above
Samsung Captivate
Stock O/S (no upgrade) Android 2.1?
Tasks don’t show in the most recent upgrade.
HTC EVO 4G
Android 2.3
I have the same issue as lexmirnov and Sergey above. The SYNC is non functioning properly
Samsung Galaxy Ace
Android version 2.2.1
320×480
Sync is not working properly. Just noticed this this morning. Last sync was probably a few days ago.
Samsung Galaxy S
Tasks don’t show up!!
HTC Desire A8183
480 × 800
Android 2.2
Getting a number of runtime errors on start up.
After a while, the android app gradually gets out of sync with the web client. Tasks completed in the web client aren’t removed, completed projects aren’t removed. Have to log out, then back in to refresh.
@Skwat please note those errors down and post them to support@nozbe.com. Thank you
Samsung Galaxy S Captivate
480 × 800
Firmware 2.3
Working fine for me
HTC Desire
480 × 800
Android 2.2
Works but generally slow and unresponsive.
@Delfina, I think the ssl cert change has fixed it. Syncs fine now and no crashes! V happy.
HTC Thunderbolt
Android 2.2
Does not sync; cannot log out/log in without app crash.
HTC MyTouch 4G
480×800
Android 2.2 (Froyo)
LG-P970
Andorid 2.2.2
480 × 800
Does not sync.
HTC EVO with the new update can’t get the app to open. Immediately get an error forcing the app to close.
New update immediately force closes and Droid X (Gingerbread) and Xoom (Honeycomb 3.2). Uninstalling, clearing data, etc, didn’t help at all. I get the splash screen then force close, every time. Quite frustrating.
Yep, the new update is completely broken. We’ve gone from “doesn’t sync” to “doesn’t even start”. (HTC Thunderbolt)
Galaxy S
Android 2.3.3
Force closes on opening even after clearing data and reinstalling.
Galaxy S2
Android 2.3.3
New app does not even open !
Agree with everybody else on the 1.3 update – it crashes before it even opens.
Dell Streak
Android 2.2.2
There is a new 1.4 update just released. This does seem to load and do things.
However, as before, it crashes when the phone emerges from standby, it still looks squashed and poorly laid out on my hardware (which other apps do not) and worse it remains functionally deficient (can’t move actions relative to one another). I see no move to SD card either yet. Removed – it’s no flagship at all Nozbe.
Dell Streak
Android 2.2.2
I have just changed phones and cannot find nozbe on the android market, what’s going on?
I just received a Samsung Galaxy Nexus, running ICS (Android 4.03). Downloaded the latest Nozbe from Android market. Unfortunately, it crashes every single time during start up
@Andrew Luk
Sadly this comes as no surprise.
The surprise would have been if worked for more than 30 seconds.
If it had worked for more than 1 minute you could have declared it “The best Android app ever!” as ‘Nozbe Michael’ did last summer… Ho, ho, ho
The update for the Android will be released this week. As far as I’m aware those crash matter were to be addressed there.
Great to hear it Delfina!! :)
HTC Incredible, don’t know resolution, Android 2.2.
I do not use the beta release because it’s very slow (on my phone).
