Repeat

It would be nice to have a customized repeat option.

For instance, I only want to repeat a task every Tues and Thursday. I don’t have that option right now.

Please note that this idea has been brought up in this forum many times. It is among planned improvements that are to be added in course of this year.

Yes, I saw that after I posted in a post that didn’t even seem related. Thanks for not being snarky :)

I did think of another version of this though.

Adding the same task after an instance of the task has been completed. So a repeat upon completion.

For instance, I need to clean up my iTunes files and I’d like to do 200 songs every time I get on the computer – so it’s not any specific date but it is something that needs to be repeated until completed.

Well it is a bit different approach I do have to admit. I will add it to our requests, but I can’t tell you at this moment if it will come about.

The only thing I can advise you on is to set two tasks e.g. due this Thuesday and Thursday and set them to repeat weekly (that’s how I work about this).

I came across it when I was trying out Thinking Rock a few year back. I like it because it wasn’t tied to a specific day but would also create a new task upon completion.
