on paper i can keep listing items down one after the other
when i want to add details or other thoughts to an item/task – i simply do by indenting a little bit and writing it below it – or even next to it with an arrow pointing to the details.
i then continue jotting tasks etc down until my mind is empty.
_____
The big thing here – I can jump between adding “tasks” “project names” to adding tasks for a project and notes for a task all without having to shift gears.
in Nozbe – to do this – i have to shift gears
I ask that Nozbe please make adding tasks/projects/ project actions/ task and project notes as integrated and seemless as we experience when making a to-do list on paper or in MS word.
Having to shift gears ive noticed isnt the best use of our working memory for when we need to shift we use brain space that could be devoted to mind dumping and actually moving forward in our life.
In some ways – we could leverage the “multi task input” and make it more flexible by allowing the input of projects in the form of 2 prongged lines with an indent (project followed by actions)
even adding prompts like RTM’s smart add allows our working memory to focus more on the task at hand rather than what “@ T:” commands we want to put after a task
