I have an action that repeats at a certain time every weekday. If I look forward in my calendar it is not shown each day, only the next instance is shown. It should show for every day it’s scheduled otherwise I don’t have the ability to plan ahead, I may double book myself without realizing it.
Also I forgot to check it off yesterday so I checked it this morning, unfortunately this does not trigger today’s instance to appear so I will end up missing today’s instance (I think you only trigger the new instance once per day but I’m not sure)

This is a bad design decision in my opinion, what good is a calendar if I can’t trust it to tell me what I have to do? If somebody wants to schedule a meeting with me for next week how can I answer them? I can’t look at my calendar it won’t tell me.
In the quest for simplicity you’ve gone too far, you can’t declutter the interface by removing things that need to be there.
While I can see this would be a problem for calendars, I agree with the design decision for task lists. Can the two things operate differently?
Hello iamegghead,
I will pass you opinion on this issue to Michael and our team. We’ll take it into consideration.
Michael, they have to be different. A calendar has to show you the fixed framework of your time. In the current case I can’t reliably plan beyond the current day.
Delfina, I hope you’re considering this as a critical bug to be fixed and not an optional feature. It isn’t my ‘opinion’. Who ever heard of a calendar that doesn’t show you your appointments? It’s ludicrous.
I have an appointment that happens every day, but the one I checked off for yesterday hasn’t disappeared yet so the one for today will never appear, that’s broken, period. I can’t look at my calendar for next week and know whether I can schedule a meeting, that’s broken, it isn’t a debate.
Essentially Nozbe doesn’t have a useable calendar or support recurring appointments. This is a big part of your app that is lying to people. You should probably prioritize that ahead of adding bubble drop downs for the labels.
Completely agree with iamegghead.
I am very dissatisfied with the repeating action feature. I NEED to set aside time, for isntance, for reading journals, and I need to get it on my calendar every Tuesday from 7 – 9 am. I can’t make it do it. I probably have 6 of these things that I REALLY need to schedule. FIX THIS! I’m going to have to find another application as this, combined with no offline software for using on the airplane or other out-of-reach places, are serious weaknesses.
By the way I searched on Repeating Feature to log in and see what the solutions are. The fact that this is a recent thread of conversation shows you just how important it is.
I would also naturally expect to see this feature for any calendar-integration with fixed, recurring tasks. I was surprised that this was not implemented as overall the Google Calendar integration is far superior to Toodledo (my previous GTD app), and this makes my calendar planning and appointment scheduling unreliable.
Hello all,
I do understand your frustration over the calendar as it is. It is far from good and we are planning to change it altogether.
Delfina, in the meantime, do your engineers propose any suggested workarounds for day to day use? What should we do for these recurring events?
I haven’t tried it, but can you set a repeating Nozbe action in Google Calendar?
