Log Completed Tasks to EverNote

Karen Buckland   Thursday, September 9

The integration with EverNote is a great feature and it was a pleasant surprise to find out that I could not only read EverNote notes and open documents from EverNote relative to a project, but also that I could write Nozbe project notes into EverNote. This made me think of a potential feature: namely, to write or log completed TASKS into EverNote relative to a project. This could have great potential as a contact management tracking system, among other things. The logged task should contain a completion date and task related notes, of course. Would this be possible? Would this be useful to anyone else?

Thank you Karen,

as we are at this point gathering ideas for broader EN integration, your suggestion could not have came at better moment.

This is good news, Delfina. I had tried Nozbe before while evaluating online GTD options, but it is really the integration with Evernote that brought me back, especially the integration on the iPhone/iPad.

Please keep in mind that since we are on brain-storming stage I can’t assure this will become a feature. Should you have further ideas on it please do send me an email. Thanks once again.

Of course. I understand. My response was to your comment that the Nozbe team is gathering ideas for broader EN integration, which would interest me.

I’d also like this feature or a way to search through all completed tasks within Nozbe. Either way would work but Evernote is the more appropriate tool for this type of data.

If you think of of the thought energy that goes into created projects, tasks, contexts, etc, you want to keep it in a searchable form for reference and to leverage in the future.

If I’m missing something in the current feature set, please let me know. I’m a fairly new/light user at this point. Working on my system.

Thanks,!

Well it’s a good idea Kirk. I will add it to the list and we’ll see what can be done.
