When will backup be discontinued?

From the June 27 blog post:

“Due to an imminent desktop client we belive it’s time to discontinue Nozbe.com offline mode as well as the backup and restore function – it’s something we stopped developing as you’ll have your Nozbe.com data on your computer at all times in the native app.”

When will backup be discontinued? Hopefully not before the desktop client is rock solid and I also hope that the desktop client has an export function!
