My initial feedback about Nozbe ++++

Hi folks

In response to email from Nozbe (having downloaded 3 days ago) here’s my initial thoughts…

Hi there

Some things missing that are stopping me to take effort to migrate from Toodledo (TD)

Cannot create hierarchical tasks (only projects can have one level of tasks) – I know TD doesn’t do it either but this is key feature I need.

Seems that it is not possible to create Saved Searches (like TD) which are extremely useful. Eg I use for filtering all 2 min duration tasks

I LOVE the fact that nozbe integrates with Evernote, in fact this is what led me to investigate Nozbe. However, I still do not think this goes far enough. This is the feature that I am really after (as posted in far more detail on Evernote forum ( http://forum.evernote.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=23228 ), but here is a summary of what I really want:

User story: As an EN and TD user, I want to create a TD task that is associated to (i.e. hyperlinks to) an EN resource so that when I later review my TD tasks I can see any context (i.e. EN resources).

So, the general idea is that

• When you’re out and about with your mobile device (e.g. iPhone) • You see something that prompts you to want to action later (e.g. a news article, advert or document etc) • You take a photo of the item • You add the photo to EN (the iPhone app) and instruct EN to automatically create a TD task for you (via email) that contains a URL to the newly created EN

Not sure if Nozbe development is headed in this direction; it’s looking good but not quite good enough for me to switch :-(

Good luck and best regards!
Mark
