Adding comments with task creation and no auto-save?

Dan   Tuesday, July 5

Hi There,

I can’t see if anyone has requested this in the past, but there are two things I would love to see.

1) Creating the ability to add comments when you are creating a task. I spend lots of my time in calendar view. There are many times I need to add a bit of additional information in there and don’t want to hit save, have to re-find the task or project (I have a lot of projects listed) then add the comment. Adding this from the beginning would be great.

2) Having the ability to not have the task auto-save and move itself around would be great as well. Because I may work in different views (project view, calendar view, context view) you always need to make sure that you’re changing things in the correct order to avoid having Nozbe save them automatically, and then chasing down the task.

For instance, in calendar view, if I change the project associated with a task first, then the date, I’ll be fine, as the task will auto-save, and then when I change the date, the task will “move” itself to the new date. But, since I’m done editing it this is not a big deal. However, if I follow that same order on a task in project view (change the project then the date) I will need to go chasing down the task to the new project it is assigned to (since it will auto-save itself to the new project and disappear from the current project view), then change the date once I find it again in the new project I assigned it to. As a result, you can’t really do anything consistently(i.e. always change project, then date) if you constantly switch views. That is why I suggest using a “save” button or making this an option. Maybe a shortcut key like Shift+Enter.

I hope this makes sense, and let me know if there is any other information I can provide!

Dan
