Custom task views: A task list view that is an aggregation of tasks in a previously selected and saved set of contexts.
That way, you can put tasks in very fine grained contexts, but you can group contexts together when trying to get a higher level picture.
For example, I may have three different kinds of “computer work.” And it may be very worthwhile to keep those contexts separate as they’re actually three totally different mind-sets. But none the less, when I sit down at the computer, I’d like to be able to pop up a view of actions that has all the kinds of computer work I’ve got to do.
Likewise, I may want to have many different types of errands but still have a higher level view of all my errands.
When putting things in context it makes sense to be as specific as you can. But when you look at the work you’ve got to do in context, the specialization makes it harder to see what you’ve got to do in a more general sense if you can only view one context at a time.
