Changing or removing dates on a task doesnt work

I can set a date for a task.
But if i need to remove the date, i click in the date field of the task, and delete the date. Then i click ok
It takes a long time but then looks like its completed
But then the date hasn’t changed.
I do this repeastedly, and most of the time it doesnt work. (not and again it works)
