iPhone/iPad app

I am having problems with the iPhone and iPad apps. It’s slow to sync and sometimes it syncs with some errors.
I was told that an update is imminent and it would adress this problems.
But as the time is passing I am considering alternatives. I’m giving up.
I just want to know WHEN we will have an iPhone/iPad update.
