It’s Sunday, February the 10th and a year ago Nozbe - my then-beta web based time and project management application based on the GTD (getting things done) methods by David Allen, caused a lot of buzz in the blog-o-sphere thanks to the article by Marc Orchant (RIP).
There is no doubt about it – Marc with his article on ZDNet started it all, he wrote: "Nozbe – a web application that keeps it simple" and the reaction in blogosphere followed. Nozbe appeared in many blogs about personal productivity and lifehacks with positive reviews. I still can’t believe Marc is not with us anymore and I’m so glad I managed to meet him personally during the Office 2.0 Conference in San Francisco last September.
One of the most famous poets from Poland and a priest – Jan Twardowski – once said: "Let’s remember to give people our love – they pass away so fast". You will be always remembered, Marc!
Now, after one year online, you – Nozbe users have confirmed you like our simple approach to getting things done and Marc was right with his initial article. Now we’re developing Nozbe in two different dimensions and you’ll be more than surprised – I’m very excited!!!
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all – my great Nozbe users for this great anniversary - the last days we had a special anniversary celebration and it was more than successful.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
We have a great and productive year ahead of us!
