I actually have problems with “sensing” time—I either underestimate or overestimate how much time a given activity takes (I either run too late or be too early). I’m sure you’ve come across this before or probably read about it. After this, I’m gonna search for good software timers to install on my laptop, office PC and my BlackBerry. But in addition to using a timer, any recommendations on how to re-calibrate my lousy inner clock?

For Ali, here’s how to calibrate your clock: before you start to do anything, write down how long you think it will take. Afterward, write down how long it did take. You can’t calibrate without feedback!

I’ve also heard the advice, set a timer to go off every hour (or even every 15 minutes). This lets you “hear” the passage of time.
