Today we launched a new tumblr blog where we’ll post updates about our infrastructure: STATUS.nozbe.com – because today we’re upgrading our infrastructure significantly!
We’ve been preparing this for almost two weeks now and we’re ready to take the leap. After initial success of our Desktop apps and our Android and Macoscope’s iPhone and iPad apps, we need to bump our servers to meet the syncing demands and speed things up.
6pm in Europe (CET), Noon in New York City (EST), 9am in California (PST)
Yes, we know it’s in the middle of the week but we want to take the leap to our new servers as soon as possible. The downtime should take max 1 hour (we aim at something like 15 minutes).
You can work offline!
The best part is that with our beta3 PC and Mac app you can work in Nozbe without feeling the downtime!
This is the first time in our history that I can confidently tell you to get the desktop app and work in the “downtime hour” offline on your computer and sync once the Nozbe.com web site is back up! It’s so cool :-)
Anyway, sorry for the downtime but you’ll be crazy happy once you’ll see how the Nozbe.com web site performs and how sync speeds up after this infrastructure update.
Remember, check out: STATUS.nozbe.com to see when the migration is done.
Thanks so much for your amazing support guys and have a productive downtime hour with our offline apps :-) And keep your fingers crossed as we make the change and transition to the new infrastructure.
Comments:
One feature I really use is the ability to order the tasks on the calendar. It’s the ultimate result of Nozbe to have an ordered daily list. Is that something that’s coming to the iphone app, android app, and offline version for PC?
Thanks
Hey folks, a time stamp on the posts at status.nozbe.com blog would be helpful.
