High-res Nozbe - a Redesign to help get things done

Michael   Sunday, August 12

Nozbe – your favorite Getting Things Done tool has just been redesigned based on your feedback – thanks for your suggestions!

We are actually rolling out many features this week, but we decided to start with this redesign.

Here’s the old Nozbe (click to enlarge):

and here’s the new design (click to enlarge):

I’m really happy with the result, here’s more detail.

1. The default resolution is now 1024*768, not 800*600.

I’ve seen the statistics and analyzed them several times and I’ve listened to your feedback – hardly anyone uses the small SVGA resolution nowadays (800*600), most of you have 1024 pixels of width or 1280 or even more (I use 1400 personally).

The fonts have been also adjusted and I guess Nozbe looks better now – you have more screen estate which means – longer phrases for your actions and projects (more descriptive items) – works very well for me.

2. No Logo – just a headline – and one that you can actually change!

The Nozbe logo didn’t fit into old design very well, so it’s been replaced by a headline and you can actually change the headline if you want (pay accounts only):

The headline is marked (blue) and when you click to Nozbe’s Settings, you can edit the headline for whatever phrase you wish (red).

It can be a company logo, a phrase to remember, a phrase of the day… whatever you choose.

3. New buttons

Some folks complained about the buttons we used in Nozbe so they have been redesigned. They look better now, are a little bigger and nicer to use.

+ other small improvements, font size changes, etc.

We hope you like the changes and we hope Nozbe will feel even more fun to use than before. Enjoy your Sunday and have a very productive week… and watch out for more Nozbe updates throughout the week.
