Nozbe - Get it Done! iPhone app - almost a week in Apple's Appstore

It’s been almost a week in the Appstore and our iPhone appp Nozbe – Get it Done! has already made lots of buzz among the productive people :-)

Nozbe for the iPhone has changed the way we get stuff done!

We’re happy that right now thousands of busy professionals can have access to their Nozbe data offline and get things done on the move!

This was version 1.0

Although we wanted to have more features, we didn’t want to stall the app indefinitely, but don’t worry, we’ll continue developing the app as we climb up the chart of the top productivity apps for the iPhone.

It’s great to sync!

...and syncing works flawlessly in most cases… but in some the sync doesn’t work as advertised and we’ve been busy identifying the problematic syncs and we believe we’ve spotted most of the problems.

So here are the issues we’ve found… and how to solve these:

We’ve already submitted version 1.0.1 to the Appstore two days ago in order to fix most of the syncing problems.

The rest of the issues should be solved in 1.0.2 and the new features will show up in 1.1

Thanks for your support!

Again, thanks for active participation in the forums and for your emails and we’re happy you’ve welcomed our iPhone app and are already getting things done on the move!

Now let’s just kill’em bugs to make Nozbe – Get it Done! the ultimate productivity application for the iPhone!

Thanks Michael. I appreciate it very much that there is a preparedness to learn and an understanding that we really need more features, which the industry already provides and offers. Multi tags, notes to tasks, localization, time, priorities, and all the other features always mentioned in the forum and in the app shop comments. Maybe in the future Nozbe will have one or two features which makes it superior to the dozens of apps which are available for free. I’ll look forward to the update, too.

Michael I dont want this to sound like sour grapes but we dont all have I Phones and maybe we aren’t all going to get them?
Is Nozbe Mobi going to get some attention or am I the only one on the planet having difficulties with this on Windows 6???? I cant edit a bloody thing on it, sorry if I sound a little frustrated!!!

:-)

Nozbe.mobi will be improved and we’re looking into the Windows Mobile platform and other platforms to work with Nozbe so don’t worry, this will be solved. For now the mobi platform was to just “get things done” on the move, not to manage them. But we’ll improve it.

We’re listening to all the features and gradually we’ll be introducing the ones we believe make Nozbe better, so just keep on watching this blog. This week we have a great new announcement to make :-)

.01 is online

:-)
Michael 18 Feb 09 22:39

Correct – 1.0.1 is online and should handle most of the syncing problems, but maybe not all of them yet. 1.0.2 is in the works currently and wil be submitted to Appstore soon. We’re working hard to make the app perfect. Thanks for your feedback!

1.0.1 still fails to sync. Edits to tasks that I make on the iPhone are not sent to the web app.

I like the web site an iNozbe a lot but I haven’t had much success with the iPhone app. Ive deleted it again and will wait for 1.0.2. It basically syncs the first time and then doesn’t sync correctly. Weekly repeating events seem to be a problem and a bunch of events with a March 2 due date seemed to get switched to March 1 in the iPhone app only. I’m looking forward to 1.0.2 but the iNozbe works great as long as I am on line. I have about 40 hours in the air coming up in the next two weeks though so being able to work offline would be nice.

The 1.0.2 is out in the Appstore – I’ve received confirmation from Apple. I will blog about it later today.
