Great UI improvements and beautiful interface coming to Nozbe soon!

First I’d like to thank everyone for their comments and info on the Nozbe 2.0 beta User interface. We now know the good, the bad and the ugly sides of the interface and we’re working hard on making it better.

I’ve hired an experienced UX (User Experience) expert to help me evaluate the feedbak from you, my users as well as my thoughts on the interface and we’re right now finishing up the wireframes to make sure Nozbe 2.0 will be great.

I’ve also hired an additional, really great graphic designer to help us make the user interface really beautiful.

Actually, we want to set a new standard for the productivity apps with the new interface, we’re aiming at a yet clerer interface and more polished looks.

I’ll post more previews on this blog as we advance, but we’re set out to make the new UI live by the end of May, so watch out for brand new shiny and really beautiful Nozbe.

Please bear with us as we make this all happen for you… and thanks for your continuous support!

Michael,

I’m totally excited to hear about this. Obviously getting rid of bugs is #1, but a beautiful user interface would really take this over the top – it’s one of the main reasons I use a Mac is that I appreciate their commitment to aesthetics. Once the system is rock-solid, especially the iphone sync issues, and it looks great, I will be much more inclined to assertively recommend this to my colleagues. Good luck!

Yes, Obama is right. We need a change.

Please be sure to extend all of this well-directed exprtise to the user experience of the iPhone application as well.

Nice Michael! I’m really glad to hear this :) Looking forward to see the results. And I’m glad you chose to share this news with us. It’s comforting to know what you are working on, and that you are working on Nozbe. =) Thanks.

We are thoroughly investigating all the iPhone sync issues and making sure these won’t happen again. Thanks for bearing with us.

As to the new Nozbe interface, we’ve gathered great amount of feedback and are on a constant basis removing bugs from the interface while on the other hand we’re working independently on the totally new and beautiful design for Nozbe 2.0. It’s exciting work and I’m sure you’ll love it and you’ll admit it was worth the wait :-)

how close is nozbe for getting to a point where it can roll out features faster.

What about a search feature for the “forum?” It’s laborious to manually page through all the posts over there?

:-)
Michael 7 May 09 13:34

We’ll add search feature to the forums soon, now that we’ve passed almost 1.5K posts and 0.5k topics on the forum, it’s time for this. You’re right.

:-)

Wow, thanks for the acknowledgment, Michael. I (and plenty of others) look forward to seeing the search function added to the forum.

I’ve added the first sneak peak of the wireframes – meaning – the new layout of the app – check out this post
