During the UI Interviews one of my users asked me why I’m not promoting Nozbe among her demographics…
... and by demographics she meant – people in her position job-wise and life-wise – and I actually didn’t have an answer, since I never realized people like her are using Nozbe!
Please tell me who you are – introduce yourself!
So I thought – why not ask my users who they are and how is Nozbe helping them be successful with their life?
I’ll start with myself…
My name is Michael, I’m an Internet entrepreneur and a time-management consultant, I’m using Nozbe to manage:
I’m using Nozbe mostly in my browser, but when I’m on the go, I’m using iNozbe on my iPhone.
Now it’s your turn!
Please tell me who you are: your name, job and how Nozbe helps you get things done.
Post your answers in the comments below.
If you don’t want to share this kind of info with the whole world for some reason, drop me an email at questions [AT] nozbe [DOT} com
Your answers are very important to me. This quick questionnaire will help me make Nozbe even better for people like yourself! Thanks in advance.

Hi, I’m John, and I manage a large computer training center for a local government near Baltimore, MD USA.
I use Nozbe everyday, all day, at work to manage about 2 dozen active projects, some with hundreds of tasks, involving training development, scheduling, outsourcing, teaching, keeping 70 workstations running and loaded with the correct software, managing staff, etc.
Nozbe and iNozbe have made all the difference for my business and personal productivity. Nozbe really is the best way to experience the life change that comes with learning to GTD.
I’ve written several posts on Nozbe and GTD on my blog at http://johnkendrickonline.com Come by for a visit when you have a time. Oh, you don’t have time? Then you better start using Nozbe and make some :-)
When can we see any progress on the iPhone App project? This is the only reason I am visiting this blog.
My name is Roberto, and I handle the new business development department for the national broadcast TV station of Chile, South America (yeah, im chilean). I use Nozbe mainly as a complement to handle my non-work todos (@work i use outlook+clear context) I like having things in separate platforms, it makes me feel not working when i get home and review my personal todos. I also have promoted nozbe on my blog planetarob.com :-)
I’m Brett. I help businesses increase their profits and have started and continue to grow some businesses online for passive income.
I use Nozbe to:
. manage my various tasks which are often unrelated (e.g., running a marketing campaign with a client and learning more online tricks for my own businesses)
. keep track of personal and business items
. schedule my appointments
I use Nozbe entirely in browser; would love to see an offline, sync’d version as I may be more apt to use iNozbe on a iTouch than an iPhone, but who knows.
Looking forward to the ‘new’ Nozbe!
My name is Ray, I’m the senior manager of data communications for a large health care organization.
I use Nozbe to keep track of all the random questions and tasks that are dropped on my desk. I also use Xmind to build mind maps of my projects and when I come up with action items needed for those projects I throw them into Nozbe.
Of course I also use Nozbe for home todo’s along with some other projects I’m working on.
Hello. I’m Francisco and I manage a special projects group in a portuguese insurance company. I use Nozbe:
- to manage projects, my actions, meetings and delegated actions;
- revise and organize regular communications with my delegated persons which are also top managers in my company and outside consultants.
- to manage goals (=projects) and actions of 2 other operational services I manage;
- (re)think in actions / objectives / priorities very often, because reality is very rich all days and not what we thougt when we marriage with a new project;
- to manage my personal objectives (health, leisure my photo is in one 4×4 event family/friends, sell my car …) and its actions, which now I revise weekly for the first time in my life (I concluded now that the “outside work” is like a flower that needs our water regularly, if not, it dies);
- But mainly I use it all days and do revisions weekly, or when necessary, to have more time in my life.
I use it at job and home; when traveling I have time to think more profoundly on goals/projects, or the best way to do a good meeting, or what to do at night and refuse to be a Nozbe “follow-uper” addict. I can organize myself to do so before traveling, and works fine. We can’t switch in each minute from strategic to operational problems; if not, we are running, but in circles.
Thanks for your great comments guys! Really helpful and great stuff.
To others reading this blog: I know I have more than 7 Nozbe users – so please speak up and introduce yourself – I really want to get to know you!
After all, we’re building Nozbe for you, too! I’m really interested who you are and how Nozbe helps you live a more productive life! Don’t be shy :-)
Hi I am Maria, software developer and mum of three kids :)
I use Nozbe for my career management and personal stuff. My job is getting more and more demanding so I manage part of my work-tasks with Nozbe. I love the drag-n-drop feature! That’s the reason I am not using RememberTheMilk anymore although I think it is a great app.
I also love the email integration and printing possibilities (export/import is so damn important, it is amazing how many GTD apps expect from you to insert your often already existing tasks one-by-one!!).
Nozbe looks great, is reliable and very well designed! I chose Nozbe after having checked all possible GTD apps out there!
What I miss:
a) one-click sorting of Next Actions (context, project, etc)
b) printing all Projects on one piece of paper (for the offline nozbe version :) )
Thanks for sharing this great app with us!
Hi, my name is Peter. I’m a Dutch freelance crossmedia specialist. I use Nozbe in Fluid (a Mac SSB) and on my iPhone. Use it to track todo’s in projects. I collect all todo’s in here and get them done. I also share projects with partners.
On my Nozbe wishlist:
1. iPhone native client
2. keyboard shortcuts to add/edit todo’s.
3. calendar view for tasks
Hi I am Simon. I am a the owner and General Manager of a Large Format digital printing Company in Hamburg Germany. I use nozbe to organize all my daily todos. The creative part of a project I work with Mindmap but the todos I work with nozbe. On the road I use the Iphone. I also share projects with some of my employees.
On my wishlist:
1. The Iphone version
2. Email integration as its posted in the blog
3. Evernote integration
4. Jott for Germany ( Its not your part)
5. Mindmap tasks to Nozbe.
I use it for personal use keeping track of the various things I have to do. I have ADHD so typical ways of tracking things in my head don’t work at all. If it’s not written down in a few minutes, it’s gone. As a result 99% of my use is with the iPhone interface. I use the desktop about monthly for cleanup and moving items out of next actions that are no longer applicable there. That’s probably the one aspect of managing Nozbe that I can’t do effectively on the iPhone using iNozbe web app or by going right to Nozbe.com in the web browser. Once I expanded to the solo level I’m remembering more tasks and am having less issues with my wife about forgetting things. So you can add ‘marriage improvement’ to your apps capabilities. :-)
Hi my name is Kristine. I’m a project planner and creative developer for an internet marketing company. I tried several other web apps before finally going with Nozbe. Why? It was the most flexible in my opinion. I could use it on both my desktop (at home and at work) as well as on the go using my mobile phone. I use Nozbe for everything pretty much. I keep track of both work stuff and personal stuff (although I need to get into a better habit of opening it when I’m at home!). I often always have it open on my work computer so that when I need to make a note of something, I can just quickly switch over to my Nozbe tab and start typing away. One thing I’m definitely looking forward to is the iPhone app. The mobile interface for Nozbe is great when I’m in a meeting and need to note something, but every time i switch over to it, I have to wait for it to load (which I guess is only a few seconds but hey, a few seconds is still a long time!). I’m hoping the iPhone app will be a little more responsive.
Kristine, I use iNozbe on my iPhone and as I am waiting for the meeting to start, I click on the icon and then on Projects so when the meeting starts, I’ve got everything right in front of me.
And if I’m meeting with someone I’ve defined as a context, I use Nozbe paper to print out their context list before leaving for the meeting, and make notes right on the printout. I don’t forget anything and people keep saying how organized I am. Not really me though, just using David Allen’s great practices and the best GTD applications on the planet! John
Hi, my name is Jonathan, I’m a business analyst, and I don’t use Nozbe as much as I really want to. I keep going back to it, and I have stuff stored on it, but I’m not as consistent as I would like to be. Still, a great tool, big fan of GTD, so this is a great extension to that.
My name is Omar, I’m a research fellow, I’m using Nozbe to manage:
* development of a lot of projects * private lifeI’m using Nozbe on my browser at home and at work (Firefox)
I’m using iNozbe also on my iPhone to rearrange task and write note.
I appreciate also the print function, I like often write down ideas and task using a pen or a pencil.
Hi everyone,
My name is Cesar and work as sysadmin for local government. My job is quite stressful with so many urgent things… Often we lose long term vision, and nozbe is ideal to keep track of them. iPod user would love offline client for my undergorund travels.
Great feedback altogether, thanks guys! I wouldn’t mind more comments still :-)
Matt – Software Developer – Using this to get back to my GTD zen state. So far so good. This is a great application.
All:
I’m marketing and new product profession in the payments business; at work I use a tool called MindManager for my projects, with a GTD add-on called Gyronix. This got me interested in a GTD tool for my life outside of work and, after some searching and sampling of tools, I found Nozbe— and I think this is the best one for me. I’ve already dropped an online tool I was using am concentrating on getting the most from Nozbe.
I’m an Enterprise Architect who recently started the GTD method. I was an early adopter of the iPad and iPad2 and I had purchased OmniFocus to implement GTD. It was good, but I could not attach relevant information about my tasks to the tasks in the app. I saw Nozbe and was reluctant to pay the subscription fee. Now, I consider it well worth every penny! Evernote and Dropbox integration make this the best GTD app ever written!
I use it to track and plan every aspect of my life. At work, I use it to manage all Enterprise Architecture road map projects and support initiatives. At home, it keeps me on task for absolutely everything I do.
My name is Paul, I’m an entrepreneur and a programme manager, I’m using Nozbe to manage:
- business
- programmes
- projects
- my life!
I’m using (i)Nozbe pretty equally between my browser and my iPhone 3G (but REALLY looking forward to the new native iPhone app, with us all soon).
How does Nozbe help me get things done? BIG job!
It beautifully bridges the gap between my strategic/KM core and my on-the-ground buzz.
From ideas to plans to actions.
I just don’t ever want to be without it.
