Wow, what an exciting time since we officially launched the Evernote integration. We got tons of great feedback and lots of great reviews… and we improved the connection even more!
Great Evernote users – welcome!
I’d like to welcome all the Evernote users who came on board and jumped on the GTD bandwagon with Nozbe – hope we can be of great service together and we’ll help you get a lot done with Nozbe and Evernote!
Rave reviews of Nozbe+Evernote on Lifehacker, Web worker daily and more…
“Nozbe, a web-based task manager with a serious Getting Things Done setup, has made a smart move by integrating capture tool Evernote. Grab something in Evernote, tag it with your project name, and it shows up in your Nozbe project list… that kind of marriage seems to make a lot of sense…”
“While I am not a card-carrying GTD user, I do use some its principles in my current workflow, so I find this integration useful and think that it improves upon Evernote’s already strong feature set and its ease of use.”
“So there you have it, a great new addition to Nozbe integration. We’re excited to see Nozbe grow and continue to provide leading edge GTD capability.”
We keep improving the integration!
Yes, we’ve listened to your feedback, so let us know how you take advantage of this great synergy and how we can make it even better.
The first thing we’ve improved is the performance of the Evernote notes and we’ve added support for all kinds of files like PDF, DOC, XLS and practically everything you can add to Evernote, you can read inside Nozbe, just have a look:
Thanks for your support!
Thanks for your input, feedback and ideas – I’m guessing we’re on a great path to a really perfect GTD setup here :-)

Thanks Ellen, we’ll check it out and make sure it displays in the right order. Thanks!
This is a truly outstanding Nozbe feature. I’ve used Evernote for a long time but I’m starting to learn how it might work well with Nozbe. Sure is nice to have the capability!
This feature was the deal-maker for me. This is the reason I bought Nozbe
Johannes, thanks for great feedback. I think you’re not the only one. Now that I moved almost all of my notes to Evernote, this motivated me to make sure we’ve nailed this. Thanks!
It would be nice to have an easy way to create a list of active projects and contexts. I’d like to use this feature but I can never remember all my project/contexts when I’m in Evernote. Same is true for when I email to Nozbe. Suggestions?
This is a great feature! I did use Remember The Milk for my GTD and Evernote for my Reference Files. Because of the Evernote/Nozbe sync, I swicthed to Nozbe-account (although I payed RTM a year in advance). The sync would even work better for my GTD when:
- you can set your own “tag” (one or more) for each project (not the standard projectname)
- it is possible to sync with all the note’s placed in one (or more) notebook in Evernote (now i must always tag the note’s in some of my noteboks)
But never the less; it’s a great feature !!!
Michael — just switched from Toodledo to Nozbe (incl iphone/ipad) because of the Evernote integration. Killer!
However, the “Nozbe Project Name” to “Evernote Tag” sync is still a stumbling block for me. I want GTD-style “Action” project names but use simple tags in Evernote. Can the Nozbe Project label be used to sync with Evernote tags?
I would also like to be able to easily convert an Evernote note into a task! I’m struggling on how to use my evernote notes as my inbox and then I’ll have to create actions out of them, just seems to be a bit overkill. Also, is there a way to move the evernote note into a completed projects/notes section?
I’m hoping that you can fix how it adds the files to Nozbe. When I sync it doesn’t place the files in the order they are in Evernote. It seems like they are all just mixed in. I would love to see them in order of just added or when created. Thanks.
