Another Nozbe problem we have uncovered during GTD coaching is that Nozbe makes it so easy to assign actions to others in a Nozbe project BUT these new “delegated” actions never appear in the delegee’s Nozbe “inbox”.
So a member of my team being assigned a new action by me inside a specific Nozbe project will never be alerted to this by Nozbe in his Nozbe inbox (allowing him to process this new information himself in the correct “in” place).
The only workaround that Nozbe offers is that a delegated action is automatically “starred” as a Next Action and so this will appear in his Next Action list. While this is partly useful, it does not deliver the pure GTD planning model, with all new items appearing first in the user’s inbox (not his next actions list).
The only workaround we have been able to propose is that when someone works on a particular project shared with others and adds additional actions for other people, that they send them a courtesy email to alert them to the new actions in a way more aligned with pure GTD.
The other user can then process these new delegated actions in their email inbox in a more typical GTD way.
Do you have plans to align Nozbe better with the pure GTD methodology here, where all actions assigned to me by others appear in my Nozbe (or email) inbox?
